About us
Our story began on 10 May 1987, when a passion for craftsmanship and innovation gave rise to Abitare 2000. The company established itself first locally, then in neighbouring areas, combining professionalism and dedication.
Today Abitare 2000 offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor staircases using quality materials including wood, iron, glass and steel. We give each idea its own character, meeting varied needs and preferences.
With over thirty years in business, Abitare 2000 is an established name in the staircase sector.
Bespoke indoor staircases
After feasibility checks and design, we cut and process materials, assemble and test the staircase, apply finishes and paint, then deliver and install it.
In our woodworking, advanced electronic equipment and the skill of master craftspeople achieve millimetre precision.
Our team carefully oversees every stage to create a unique, high-quality staircase.
Handcrafted indoor staircases
The moisture content of our wood is certified, and our paints are water-based, non-toxic and hypoallergenic.
This environmentally friendly finish protects wood naturally and durably. Wood can also be aged or brushed to create distinctive effects.
Metal can receive specialist treatments including micro-shot blasting, polishing and satin finishing to suit different styles.
Metal is painted with epoxy powders cured at over 200°C to provide durability and protect people's health.
